Why won't my video play?

If a file uploaded fine but won’t play in the review window, it’s almost always the video codec, not Editlock.

Fix it

• Re-export as MP4 / H.264. That’s the format that plays most reliably in every browser. Other containers may upload but not play back.
• Black screen or no sound? Same cause — an unusual codec inside the file. A clean MP4 / H.264 (with AAC audio) export fixes it.
• Try another browser or an incognito window to rule out an extension blocking playback.
