How do I upload a file?

Uploads run right in your browser — no desktop app needed.

Upload a file

1. Open the project you want to add files to. (No project yet? Create one from your dashboard first.)
2. Click Upload in the top-right toolbar.
3. Pick one or more files, or drag them straight onto the project.
4. Watch the progress bar — large files upload in parallel and resume automatically if your connection drops.

Supported files

Editlock accepts common video, audio, and image formats. If a file is rejected it’s usually an unsupported format — re-export as MP4 (video), MP3 / WAV (audio), or JPG / PNG (image).

An upload stalled or failed

Refresh the page and try again — in-progress uploads resume where they left off, so you won’t lose what already went up. If it keeps failing on one file, that file may be corrupt or an unsupported format.
