How do I share a project or asset for review?

Share links let anyone review your work in the browser — your client doesn’t need an Editlock account.

Create a share link

1. Select the asset or folder you want to share.
2. Click Share.
3. Set your options — expiry date, whether downloads are allowed, and (optionally) a passphrase.
4. Click Create, and the link is copied to your clipboard automatically.

Protect a share with a passphrase

Turn on Passphrase in the share options and set a word or phrase. Reviewers must enter it before they can view — useful for confidential cuts. You can add a hint that’s shown on the unlock screen.

Stop a share

Open Share Links for the project and delete the link. Anyone who had it loses access immediately.
